Sometimes we just need a little love... and a LIFE update.

Meet Addie- the newest addition to the O'Connor family.

Yes, I think I have fallen in love.

In case you didn't guess- we got a new puppy this afternoon! She is an 8 weeks old female maltese with a little bit of shih tzu. She is absolutely adorable. She is such a cuddler and has taken to all the members of my family. She just loves to be in people's arms... if you put her down, she just runs right back to you :)

Sometimes life has a way of surprising you.

Sometimes life has a way of making you smile.

It's days like these that make me realize the beauty of life.

We have never been a dog family. In fact, I never thought I would see the day that we had a dog in our life. But it happened- can I blink now?

But isn't that what makes life so exciting? The unpredictable, awesome, unexpected days and events that truly bring a smile to our faces. I am usually not one for surprises... but this surprise has truly been so exciting.

Embrace life's little surprises... you never know when a puppy may waltz into your life. :)

"Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.
