I love it when people promote natural beauty in creative ways! As someone who previously struggled with body image (how many teenage girls can honestly say they haven't?), it is encouraging to see that artists and bloggers are trying to promote the message that everyone is beautiful. Whatever way you were born, God intentionally made you beautiful in your own, unique way.


I am sure you have heard those voices that scream:
You're not good enough.
Try harder.
Lose weight.
You are the ugliest person in the room.
Everyone is staring at you- you don't belong.
And if you haven't... lucky you :)
Images in magazines, television shows, diet commercials... they all try to tell us we aren't good enough. They try to tell us we are insufficient. Don't believe them. In fact, tune them out entirely if you can.


So today, I encourage you to try and erase those controlling thoughts that tell you to look/act a certain way... because you are perfect, and you are beautiful exactly the way you are.
